Can I use Dual Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF-tones) or key beeps?

The same tones that are generated by your land line are generated by the keypad of your mobile transceiver. This can be used to listen to access your answering machine, go through voice-response menus at your bank, or call someone with a pager.

I am a subscriber to Inmarsat airtime from KVH. What sort of customer and account support is available?

What's the difference between the Inmarsat FleetBroadband and Inmarsat Fleet services?

FleetBroadband is the newest maritime satellite communications and Internet service from Inmarsat. It operates using Inmarsat's new I-4 satellites and offers faster data rates (up to 432 Kbps) and lower costs in more compact antennas with global coverage.

Inmarsat Fleet, which has been available since 2002, offers global voice, fax, and Internet, with data rates as fast as 128 Kbps via KVH's TracPhone F77 system.

I currently use an Inmarsat-compatible satellite communications system manufactured by a company other than KVH. However, KVH is offering the best Inmarsat airtime rates. Can I purchase airtime from KVH if I'm not using a KVH system?
