Request a Static IP Address for Your mini-VSAT Broadband Account

Use this form to add static IP addressing to your mini-VSAT Broadband account. With a static IP address assigned to a computer system onboard your vessel, parties on shore will be able to access that computer directly over the Internet.

In order to complete the setup process, we will need access to your system's modem via the satellite link. Please confirm each of the following items before you complete this form:

Your TracPhone system is turned on
Your system is activated for mini-VSAT Broadband service
Your system is connected to the Internet (the control unit shows "Online" and you are able to browse the web)

1.	Enter the number of Static IP Addresses you wish to purchase: (4 maximum) A one-time setup fee of $295 will apply for each unique static IP address you request. This is a flat rate that remains the same regardless of the number of service regions you select below.

NOTE: Although your vessel is assigned one static IP address for all regions, a unique public IP address needs to be configured for each region you request. Unfortunately, this means that when your vessel moves from one region to another, parties on shore will need to switch to the public IP address configured for that region to connect to your vessel’s onboard computer. However, no matter where you travel, you will not need to change the static IP configuration on your onboard computer. Checking this box indicates your acceptance of the $295 setup fee that applies for each static IP address you request. This fee will be billed to your account upon processing of this form. Please allow two business days for processing. Once your static IP address is established for your selected region(s), KVH will send you an e-mail containing your new static IP information, along with instructions on configuring your onboard computer.
