• KVH CommBox™
  The KVH CommBox Ship/Shore Network Manager is a powerful addition to critical maritime operations. It supports operational requirements like reducing total communication costs while maintaining a high degree of flexibility, provides least-cost routing for communications, allowing your vessels to rely on mini-VSAT Broadband for everyday use and then switch to a complementary service like Inmarsat FleetBroadband or shore-based WiFi when necessary, improves crew welfare and morale by offering private voice, roaming e-mail and web browsing, and allows shore-based IT staff to have comprehensive remote access to the shipboard networks. • Virtual "Local" Numbers
  The mini-VSAT Broadband voice service offers a fantastic cost-saving option – virtual “local” phone numbers. With this featured option, you may assign up to 5 virtual numbers per phone line to your TracPhone V3 or V7 with calling codes specific to the states or countries of your choice. Share these numbers with your office and business contacts and they’ll avoid long-distance or international calling charges when calling you, regardless of where your vessel is operating! • Crew Calling Gateway 
  KVH’s Crew Calling Gateway will help your crew stay in touch with their loved ones by adding a dedicated voice line with flexible management options to fit your needs.
• Picocell
  Optional picocell solution from KVH and On-Waves brings maritime GSM cell phone service to TracPhone V7 users -- with this solution, any crew member, passenger, or contractor can purchase a dedicated SIM card, pop it into their cell phone, and use that phone on a moving ship anywhere within the mini-VSAT Broadband coverage area. In addition to offering convenient, easy to use service, the On-Waves equipment is unobtrusive and easy to install. It includes a picocell and compact belowdecks hardware used to transmit calls over the mini-VSAT Broadband network.
• UCH-250 Fax Server ¹
  The UCH-250 Fax Server works with your TracPhone V7 system to deliver extremely reliable faxing over the mini-VSAT Broadband service. Once connected to any G3-compatible fax machine and the TracPhone V7, the UCH-250 helps to transmit each fax in a digital (rather than analog) format, avoiding the industry-wide problem of dropped or incomplete faxes commonly associated with faxing over Voice over IP (VoIP) connections ($45 monthly fax server plan required).  

¹ In order to use the UCH-250 hardware, it is necessary to activate the supplemental mini-VSAT Broadband fax service (additional $45/month). To activate, call +1 866 399-8509 (Continental U.S.) or +1 401 847-3327 (North/South America, Australia) or +45 45 160 180 (Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East).

• End-to-end System Integration
  The mini-VSAT Broadband service, along with the KVH TracPhone V7 antenna, comprise the first end-to-end 24-inch VSAT antenna, service, and support package available for global maritime communications. Together, KVH and ViaSat are providing two-way mobile broadcast services from secure teleports around the globe and powerful Ku-band communications satellites. The resulting seamless network offers voice service and Internet access as fast as 512 Kbps (upload) and 2 Mbps (download) at fixed and seasonal monthly, or per-megabyte rates. 
• ArcLight® Technology
  KVH’s mini-VSAT Broadband network takes a revolutionary approach to maritime satellite communications to maximize data and voice throughput while preventing interference to adjacent satellites. The network is based on ViaSat’s ArcLight Code Reuse Multiple Access (CRMA) spread spectrum technology, which significantly reduces contention issues, transmission delays, and shared transmission bandwidth compared to traditional Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) technology relied upon by other VSAT networks.

  KVH offers fully integrated maritime satellite communications that includes the powerful CommBox middleware technology. Developed by KVH Industries Norway, CommBox is fielded aboard more than 900 vessels worldwide and is designed to work seamlessly with KVH’s mini-VSAT Broadband service and any other communications option to help reduce cost, increase efficiency, and enhance your broadband experience at sea.
