Scholarship from KVH Industries intended to encourage and support Aquidneck Island high school seniors entering math or engineering undergraduate programs
MIDDLETOWN, RI -- April 7, 2010 -- KVH Industries, Inc., is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for its 2010 Technology Scholar Award. This $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving high school senior who will be entering a 4-year undergraduate math or engineering program the following fall. Among those eligible for the scholarship are students who live on or attend high school on Aquidneck Island as well as the children and grandchildren of KVH employees. While this scholarship is not solely needs-based, preference will be given to students who demonstrate a financial need.
