DISH 129°W & HDTV Changes

DISH Network® will change the frequency encoding of its 129°W satellite as early as Wednesday, December 16th. This change will affect mobile DISH Network TurboHD subscribers in the western half of the United States, regardless of which manufacturer’s antenna they are using. However, it is only related to HD broadcasts in this region – you will continue to be able to enjoy standard definition programming without any issues.

This change to DISH TurboHD broadcasts will NOT affect you if you are not in the western half of the United States or if you own one of the following KVH TracVision satellite TV systems: TracVision R6ST and R6DX, TracVision M1 and M1DX, or TracVision M3ST and M3DX.

KVH is dedicated to ensuring your satisfaction with our products and offers solutions to this issue if you are a DISH Network TurboHD subscriber in the affected region and own a TracVision system that is affected by DISH Network’s change.
