MIDDLETOWN, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 26, 2007--KVH Industries, Inc., (Nasdaq:KVHI) announced today that ASA Electronics Corp., an international manufacturer and supplier of mobile electronics, is now serving as a national distributor for KVH mobile communication products. ASA Electronics is focused on bringing KVH's award-winning TracVision® mobile satellite TV systems and its new TracNet™ 100 mobile Internet receiver with MSN® TV service to dealers and vehicle manufacturers in the commercial vehicle, bus, limousine, and conversion van markets.

"We are extremely pleased to have ASA Electronics join KVH as our newest national distributor," said Ian Palmer, KVH's executive vice president of satellite sales. ASA Electronics will be focused on the sales and distribution of KVH's 12V flagship products:

  • The TracNet 100 mobile Internet system with MSN TV service - TracNet 100 provides in-motion, high-speed access to MSN TV Internet services, including MSN Mail, MSN Messenger, web browsing, Internet radio, and online games, all conveniently displayed on the video screens and TVs in vehicles. For those users who depend on applications on laptops or PDAs, the TracNet 100 also turns a vehicle or vessel into a mobile hotspot thanks to integrated WiFi that supports multiple users and devices.

Commenting on what the future may bring for the partnership and the customers, Pat McCullough, ASA Electronics' vice president of sales, remarked, "KVH and ASA Electronics speak the same language when it comes to meeting and exceeding the needs of our mobile customers. We like to think of ourselves as a technology partner as well as a supplier, and we applaud KVH for their contributions to mobile satellite technology.
