The CommBox Edge Secure Suite helps mitigate risks as part of a comprehensive network and onboard cybersecurity solution focused on:
- Detection – monitors incoming and outgoing traffic and built on Cisco Talos and SNORT
- Prevention – responds in real time to malicious actions by blocking or quarantining harmful traffic (e.g., malware, viruses, denial of service, ping of death, etc.)
- Logging – captures and reports detailed threat logs (including syslogs/rsyslogs) to an offsite SIEM/SOC

The CommBox Edge High Availability Configuration includes two synchronized units. One operates as the active Primary system, while the other remains in standby as a fully configured Secondary. If the Primary experiences downtime, the Secondary instantly takes over with the same settings.
