KVH Manager: Your Control Hub, Now Even More Capable
KVH Manager, our user-friendly, intuitive, and secure platform, helps subscribers manage all their terminals and services, track usage, and stay connected confidently. The latest updates have made it more powerful than ever.
Here’s what’s new:
For Starlink Customers:
- Self-Activation for existing users and Partners offers a simple online interface to get started quickly using a computer or phone.
- Self-activation for new KVH customers is coming soon!
- Reboot your Starlink terminal and reset the SSID and Password remotely from anywhere using the app or browser.
- Groups and User Permissions are being rolled out to help partners manage visibility with a new self-service tool for creating platform groups and assigning user access.
- Local Priority Plans & Data Blocks are now supported, allowing users to choose what best fits their needs, with new plan flexibility and easy add-on data.
- Local Priority Top-Ups Make Data Increases Simple when subscribers are running low on data and need to quickly buy more in just a few clicks.
For OneWeb Users:
- Real-time Geo Tracking gives a clear view into exactly where a user’s OneWeb terminal-equipped assets are, wherever they go.
- Data Alerts provide notifications in percentage increments to monitor usage and trigger automated threshold warnings.
- Network Status displays what’s connected, what’s active, and what requires attention.
- Beautiful Coverage Maps give detailed insight into OneWeb’s satellite footprint.
CommBox Edge Secure Suite: Next-level Cyber Protection
Our new Secure Suite for CommBox Edge is a versatile cybersecurity solution to safeguard vessels, vehicles, and businesses. It combines some of the most advanced threat detection and proactive monitoring technology with powerful, easy-to-use tools for real-time protection.
Secure Suite works with all CommBox Edge hardware solutions plus the CommBox Edge virtual machine option, making it ideal for fleets that need proactive threat protection without the overhead.
Here’s what it helps you do:
- Detection – CommBox Edge Secure Suite IPS delivers real-time monitoring using tools like Cisco Snort and an intuitive cloud-based Threat Dashboard to reduce cyber risks.
- Prevention – Stops threats before they impact operations with active quarantine and IPS, and using tools like Cisco Talos.
- Reporting – Provides clear dashboards and detailed logs that a security team can use to act on immediate needs or prepare future actionable plans.

Meet the New Starlink Performance Kit (Gen 3)
It’s finally here, and it’s impressive.
As part of our complete Starlink product portfolio, we now offer the Starlink Performance Kit (Gen 3), Starlink’s most powerful and rugged terminal yet.
The Starlink Performance Kit (Gen 3) stands above the rest:
- Speeds up to 470 Mbps down / 48 Mbps up with gigabit download capability expected in 2026
- Durable aluminum enclosure and mounting for high-vibration and in-motion use
- IP68/IP69K weather resistance rating for extreme weather environments
- Improved power efficiency with more than 30 percent lower draw compared to the Performance Kit (Gen 2)
- New Advanced Power Supply with support for both AC and DC power
- Twist-lock connectors to protect against corrosion and water ingress
- Three-year warranty and designed for ten years of field survivability
- Retrofit-friendly mounting and optional termination kits for fall 2025
And yes, the Advanced Power Supply and Wi-Fi Router are included in eligible kits.
